Summary of Project and Key Findings:
In this study, we evaluated presence of potentially bioactive compounds in underutilised sea cucumber, and by-products arising from sea cucumber processing.
We found numerous compounds and proteins that have traditional or scientifically proven bioactivities that hold promise as nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals or dietary products.
