Summary of Project and Key Findings:
The project was for the generation of protein isolate from DAF solids from two South Island dairy. Included was further refinement of the process, included the removal of a lipid layer, and assessment of the volatile compounds in the final product, and the effect of different processing options. The final product for use for further animal testing (in a separate project with AgResearch and Massey).
